The AAP Foundation has many ways for you to reach your target audience while supporting periodontology! The AAPF is the only 501(c)(3) charitable organizaiton deducated exclusively to periodontology. Your support helps ensure the future of the specialty remains strong.
Following 9 years of successful virtual runs, this year the AAP Foundation is hosting PerioDash 2024, a virtual run to raise awareness around the Foundation and how we help strengthen the specialty. Runners will sign up and complete a 5K run/walk at their own pace, on their own time. Runners will each receive a PerioDash 2024 T-shirt and medal. Younger constituents love this popular event, many form their own teams. In 2023, nearly 500 people ran or walked in PerioDash. Runners participate as individuals, as part of practice teams, school teams, and more. They come up with fun, creative team names, such as "The Vertical Defects," "Floss Posse," and "Gingiva Ninjas." This is a fun, well-loved event that will afford your company vital positive representation
